For weddings and corporate events in Pakistan, three to four months is comfortable because the best dates go early. For peak season in the UAE and UK we suggest six months. For university and institutional programmes, one to two months usually works. If your date is close, contact us anyway — availability changes and we sometimes have last-minute slots.

Yes. VPAG is based in Lahore and regularly performs in the Gulf, the United Kingdom and further afield. International bookings need more lead time because the group travels, so flights, accommodation, visa support and rehearsal days all have to be planned together. Tell us the city and dates as early as possible and we will put a full itinerary together.

Send us your event date, venue or city, approximate audience size, the running time you have available and the kind of atmosphere you want. We reply with a set list and a quote. The more detail you give, the more accurate the first number will be.

Pricing depends on the number of performers, running time, whether musicians are needed on stage, the venue and the country. A short four-to-six item set is priced differently from a full evening programme, and international travel is costed separately. Rather than publish a number that will not fit your event, we quote per enquiry.

Traditional and classical dance including Kathak, regional folk from Punjab, Sindh, Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Sufi and spiritual performance, Bollywood and contemporary stage choreography, and full cultural programmes built from any combination of these. We also take on custom choreography and artistic direction.

Yes, and most clients want that. A typical cultural programme moves from a classical or Sufi opening into folk that raises the energy, then closes on a Bollywood or stage number. The mix is adjusted to the audience: a family event, a corporate conference and a diaspora wedding each want a different balance.

Anywhere from a five-minute opener to a full evening. A single classical set is usually twelve to fifteen minutes, and a complete cultural show is typically sixty to ninety minutes including changes. If you have a fixed programme slot we will build the set list around it.

It can be. Traditional dance is normally performed with musicians playing live on stage, which is a large part of why the performance reads as authentic rather than as playback. Corporate and festival programmes sometimes use a mix of live and recorded accompaniment. Tell us your preference and the venue and we will confirm what is possible.

Banquet halls, hotels, university auditoria, cultural centres, convention stages, corporate offices, community centres and private residences. We have performed at large institutional events and at intimate family gatherings, and the production is scaled to suit. If the venue is unusual, send us the floor plan or capacity and we will advise.

Costumes, props and choreography come as part of the performance. Anything that affects the technical plan — lighting, sound, backdrop, risers — depends on what the venue already provides, so we ask for details of the space before confirming.

Regularly. Our programmes are built to be legible to people who have no prior knowledge of Pakistani forms, without flattening them. We use the language of the event rather than assuming cultural context, and we can adapt the pacing and content for a mixed or largely non-Pakistani audience.

Event date and city, venue name and address, audience size, running time available, and a named point of contact. We then confirm availability and send a proposal with fees, travel, accommodation and the number of days the group needs in your city for rehearsal and soundcheck.

We prepare the documentation you need for the visa application, including performer letters and tour itineraries, and we give reasonable notice of our travel dates. Visa fees, airfare and accommodation are arranged separately and are not included in the performance fee.

Six to eight weeks is the practical minimum for an international booking. Gulf destinations can sometimes be arranged faster. Longer notice also means a better set list, because we can rehearse the specific pieces your programme needs rather than staging something generic.
